Spring Blythe Gathering

Sunday May 25, 2008 was such a nice day! Perfect for the Spring Blythe gathering hosted by the lovely Gina Garan at her studio in Union Square, New York City. The gathering was from 1pm to 5pm. The girls and I showed up after 1:30pm. There were already a few people in there, not too crowded. There were sweet treats for the guests: cupcakes, cookies, and assorted beverages. The girls met other Blythes, in fact, they looked so cute and colorful sitting next to each other.
The Blythes from left to right belong to sisters Keira and Jamie. The one with the long reddish brown hair is a custom from an Aston Drake base. She got her second hand and had her hair re-rooted. The violet hair doll is a Primadolly Violet, and the one with the gorgeous teal hair is a Princess a la Mode. It was fun to meet other Blythe fans. While I was there, I purchased two sets of clothes for the girls. I couldn’t resist. I’ll be posting their new clothes soon.
Did I mention there were cupcakes and cookies? The cupcakes looked so tempting. I had to control my urge to gorge on the cupcakes. The cupcakes are from Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery in the Lower East Side. I’ll have to go there and pick up more in the near future!
